Volleyball Game Preview: Lewis Mills Spartans vs. Bristol Eastern Lancers

Lewis Mills is 0-8 against Bristol Eastern since September of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Spartans will venture away from home to take on the Lancers at 6:00 p.m.

Lewis Mills lost 3-0 to Avon on Wednesday.

While Lewis Mills was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Avon's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-17, 28-26.

Meanwhile, Bristol Eastern entered their tilt with Conard on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Red Wolves.

Bristol Eastern never let Conard on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-21, 27-25.

Bristol Eastern's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Lewis Mills, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.
