Basketball Recap: Colfax Comes Up Short

Colfax lost against Elk Mound back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Colfax Vikings took a 55-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Elk Mound Mounders. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Colfax's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Elk Mound, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Colfax will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Augusta at 7:15 p.m. on December 30th. Elk Mound and Altoona will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
