Soccer Recap: Lyman's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lyman had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 9-1 margin over the Evans Trojans. The Greyhounds' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.

Lyman moved to 5-5-5 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Evans, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Lyman will challenge Winter Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Winter Springs will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Lyman surely won't give up without a fight. Evans does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
