Softball Recap: Frazee Comes Up Short

Frazee extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 3-8 in the process. They came up short against the Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton Rebels, falling 20-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hornets of the 11-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

As for Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton, they pushed their record up to 14-1 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10.1 runs.

For Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton's part, the team relied heavily on Katie Kittelson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. The dominant performance also gave Kittelson a new career-high in doubles (two). Lexi Froemke was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Frazee will face off against Sebeka at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton, they will challenge Wadena-Deer Creek at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
