Softball Recap: Forrest County Agricultural Comes Up Short

Forrest County Agricultural was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They fell 13-9 to the Sacred Heart Crusaders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 back in March.

Ryliee Nobles made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Presley Parker, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Forrest County Agricultural's defeat dropped their record down to 6-26. As for Sacred Heart, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season.

Forrest County Agricultural does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sacred Heart, they will head out to face off against Meridian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
