Bad Axe snaps three-game streak of wins at home

Recap: Bad Axe Hatchets vs. Caro Tigers
After a string of four wins, the Bad Axe Hatchets's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 44-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Caro. Bad Axe was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Caro apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
It was another big night for Evan Langmaid, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and four blocks for Caro. Jaidon Buniack was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Bad Axe's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-6. As for Caro, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bad Axe will take on Cass City at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Cass City knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matches -- so hopefully Bad Axe likes a good challenge. As for Caro, they will head out on the road to face off against Laker at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
