Basketball Recap: Palmer Comes Up Short

Palmer lost against Twin Loup back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Palmer Tigers took a blow against the Twin Loup Wolves, falling 77-45. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-20.

Palmer's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Twin Loup, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Palmer Tigers take on the Newman Grove/St. Edward Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Twin Loup will take on Sandhills Valley in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sandhills Valley will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Twin Loup surely won't give up without a fight.
