Preview: Pleasant Hill/Western vs. Mendon Unity

This Friday at 7:30 PM, Pleasant Hill/Western faces Mendon Unity. This could be a nice opportunity for Mendon Unity as Pleasant Hill/Western has a 1-2 record at home.

Pleasant Hill/Western can now show off three landslide victories after its game last week. It took its contest against Brown County last week by a conclusive 34 - 7 score. Senior Dalton Crane was especially active in the win, finding the end zone an impressive three times. Crane's longest touchdown was a 33-yard scramble in the second quarter. This sound performance was nothing new for Crane, who has been a rock for Pleasant Hill/Western in the past eight games. Senior Grant Peebles offered Pleasant Hill/Western additional support, laying down the law -- and the quarterback -- with three sacks. As for Mendon Unity, it didn't have too much trouble with Greenfield/Northwestern in its last game, where Mendon Unity won 32 - 14.

Their wins bumped Pleasant Hill/Western to 4-4 and Mendon Unity to 1-0. We'll see which team can carry over its success and which team inevitably falls when Pleasant Hill/Western and Mendon Unity clash.
