Soccer Recap: Mount Vernon Takes a Loss

Mount Vernon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Paris Wildcats, falling 16-0.

Mount Vernon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Paris, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mount Vernon will challenge Non Varsity Opponent at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Paris, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Paris take on the North Lamar at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Paris is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.9 goals per game this season.
