Football Recap: Randolph-Clay Red Devils vs. Columbus Blue Devils
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cottonwood, Randolph-Clay was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Columbus Blue Devils as the Randolph-Clay Red Devils made off with a 30-8 win. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 24-0.
The victory got Randolph-Clay back to even at 1-1. As for Columbus, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
Randolph-Clay will have plenty of time to enjoy the win as they don't play again for a while. They'll take on Calhoun County at 7:30 p.m. on September 13th. As for Columbus, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Jordan at 7:00 p.m. on September 13th.
