Basketball Game Preview: Pecatonica/Argyle Vikings vs. Juda Panthers

The Pecatonica/Argyle Vikings will head out on the road to challenge the Juda Panthers at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Pecatonica/Argyle has five straight wins, Juda has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Monday, Pecatonica/Argyle took their contest with ease, bagging a 73-28 victory over Southwestern. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 28 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Juda scored the most points they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of Cambria-Friesland by a score of 54-51.

Juda's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Pecatonica/Argyle, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Everything came up roses for Pecatonica/Argyle against Juda in their previous meeting back in February, as the team secured a 72-23 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pecatonica/Argyle since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
