Vicksburg waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 73-62 victory over the Harper Creek Beavers. The win was all the more spectacular given the Bulldogs' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 364th, while the Beavers are ranked 90th).

Vicksburg's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-9. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Harper Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 10-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vicksburg will square off against Otsego at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Vicksburg has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Harper Creek, they will host Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
