Volleyball Recap: Pomona Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Pomona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Littleton Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-16, 25-11.

Pomona's offense was headlined by Macy Stemple and Meira Schmidt, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Avery Guyer and her nine assists. Natalia Grzebieniarz controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Pomona's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Littleton, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Coming up, Pomona will head out on the road to square off against Wheat Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Littleton, they will be playing at home against Standley Lake at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Gators will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight.
