Basketball Recap: Springer Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

Springer won the last time they faced Cimarron and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Springer Red Devils snuck past the Cimarron Rams with a 56-50 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Devils.

Springer pushed their record up to 16-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points over those games. As for Cimarron, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.

Looking ahead, Springer will square off against Roy Municipal School at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cimarron, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against New Mexico School for the Deaf at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
