Pasco never got on the board in their matchup last Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Central on Thursday. They blew past the Bears 10-3. Considering the Pirates have won eight contests by more than six  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Andrew Blommel made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he  pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than one  hit in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4. What's more,  he posted two  RBI, the most he's  had since back in February.
 In other batting news,  Boomer Newton was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-4. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Yanuel 'Yanni' Mercado, who  scored a  run while going 3-for-4.
 Pasco was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .387. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Central only posted a  batting average of  .208.
Pasco's record now sits at 10-6. As for Central, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record  this season.
 Pasco will square off against Wiregrass Ranch at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Central, they will face off against Citrus at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
