 Lafayette Jefferson was the  4-1 winner over Fishers when they last played one another  back in May of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Lafayette Jefferson Bronchos wound up with the same score they had in their last game (5-4), but sadly  the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.
  Ethan Lane put in work while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off   four  hits. Lane has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Lane was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-2 with two  RBI.
 Lane wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Benjamin Pickering, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-4.
 On Fishers' side,  Owen Sanders looked comfortable as he  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Deagan Repp, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Huston Dunn, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Lafayette Jefferson has  not been sharp recently as the team has  lost six of their last seven contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record  this season. As for Fishers, the  victory was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-6.
 Lafayette Jefferson will head out on the road to  square off against  Harrison at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Fishers, they will be staying on the road  on Saturday to face off against Twin Lakes at 3:00  p.m. Twin Lakes is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 9.9  runs per game  this season.
