Soccer Recap: Grandview Comes Up Short

Grandview was the 3-1 winner over Broomfield when they last played one another back in May of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Grandview fell just short of Broomfield by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that Grandview have lost by just one goal.

Grandview is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3. As for Broomfield, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Grandview will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Chatfield at 5:00 p.m. on the 27th. Grandview is facing Chatfield at the right time seeing as Chatfield is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Broomfield, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 1-1 draw against Valor Christian on the 15th.
