Basketball Recap: Miami Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the Miami Wardogs came up short against the Wyandotte Bears and fell 62-49.

When it comes to explaining why Miami lost, don't look at Waike Roblyer. Despite the final result, he went 6 of 12 en route to 17 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The match was Roblyer's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Sooter, who went 6 for 12 on his way to 14 points.

Miami's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Wyandotte, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Miami wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 66-41 defeat against Wagoner on the 21st. Wyandotte has also already played their next match (against Ketchum), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
