Recap: Nebraska City Pioneers vs. Wahoo Warriors
The Nebraska City Pioneers suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Monday. They had to suffer through a rough 96-47 loss at the hands of Wahoo. Nebraska City has not had much luck with Wahoo recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Despite the loss, Nebraska City still got an impressive performance from Keston Holman, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Daniel Adanza, who scored seven points along with two steals and two blocks.
It was another big night for Marcus Glock, who scored 26 points along with six rebounds and three steals for Wahoo. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Simons, who scored 16 points along with two steals and two blocks.
Nebraska City has been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season. As for Wahoo, they pushed their record up to 11-2 with that win, which was their 19th straight at home.
Nebraska City on the road again on Thursday and play against Plattsmouth at 6:00 p.m. on January 25th. As for Wahoo, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Ralston at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th. Ralston will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Nebraska Rankings (they are ranked 193rd, while Wahoo is ranked seventh).
