Baseball Recap: DeSoto County Comes Up Short

DeSoto County managed to slip by Oasis the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bulldogs lost 12-5 to the Sharks on Friday. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Player #16 was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs. Another player making a difference was Aiden Angeles, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

DeSoto County's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Oasis, the victory also got them back to even at 10-10.

DeSoto County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 4-1 win against Lake Placid on the 14th. As for Oasis, they have also already played their next contest, an 11-7 defeat against First Baptist Academy on the 14th.
