Basketball Recap: Rancho Solano Prep Mustangs vs. Scottsdale Christian Academy Eagles
The Rancho Solano Prep Mustangs had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Scottsdale Christian Academy by a score of 38-28 on Saturday. The win was just what Rancho Solano Prep needed coming off of a 61-16 loss in their prior game.
Rancho Solano Prep found their leader in underclassman Zoey Pozen, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Pia Sachdev was another key contributor, scoring five points along with four steals.
Rancho Solano Prep's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Scottsdale Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season.
Rancho Solano Prep will take on the Falcons at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Veritas Prep will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Scottsdale Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Golden Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
