Patrician Academy is 7-1 against Southern Academy since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Saints will head out on the road to challenge the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Patrician Academy comes in on nine and Southern Academy on four.

On Friday, everything came up roses for Patrician Academy against Jackson Academy as the team secured a 49-6 win. Given the Saints' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 159th, while the Eagles are ranked 363rd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Patrician Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Remington Faile, who rushed for 98 yards and four TDs on only nine carries. Another back making a difference was Ridge Russell, who gained 146 total yards and a touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Patrician Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 310 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 309 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Meanwhile, while Southern Academy put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Clarke Prep. The Cougars blew past the Gators 42-0. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won four contests by 30 points or more so far this season.

Patrician Academy's record now sits at 9-0. As for Southern Academy, their record is now 6-3.

Everything went Patrician Academy's way against Southern Academy when the teams last played back in September of 2024, as Patrician Academy made off with a 52-30 victory.
