Volleyball Recap: Magnolia Extends Winning Streak to Four

Magnolia waltzed into their game on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Conroe Tigers by a score of 2-0. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Sophie Gomez was the offensive standout of the match as she had seven digs and four aces. Those four aces gave her a new career-high.

Magnolia's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Conroe, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Magnolia will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Stafford at 11:00 a.m. As for Conroe, they will take on Cypress Lakes in a tournament on Thursday.
