 After a string of three wins, Germantown's good fortune finally ran out  on Thursday. They took  a  10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Whitehaven Tigers. Germantown has struggled against Whitehaven recently, as their  match on Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
  Justin Nunez and  Auston Walker stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Nunez  scored a  run while going 2-for-2, while  Walker  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 On Whitehaven's side,  Darrius Coble made a big impact no matter where he played. He  struck out six batters over  3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits. Coble was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with four  RBI, a  triple,  and a  run.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  KeShawn Lee, who  scored four  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in all five of his plate appearances.  Camron Osborne was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
 Germantown's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Whitehaven, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record  this season.
 Germantown will head out on the road to  square off against  Houston at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Whitehaven, they will be playing at home against White Station at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
