Basketball Recap: St. Mary Central Catholic Takes a Loss

St. Mary Central Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 34th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 61-20 loss at the hands of the Lakota Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 60-26 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

St. Mary Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Lakota, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

St. Mary Central Catholic will challenge Hopewell-Loudon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lakota, they will face off against St. Joseph Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lakota has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
