Tri-Village had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They skirted past the Minster Wildcats 1-0. The Patriots' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Elizabeth Poling looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Tri-Village's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kash Mead, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Tri-Village's victory bumped their record up to 28-0. As for Minster, they moved to 19-7 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Tri-Village will challenge Dalton at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Patriots surely won't give up without a fight. Minster does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
