Soccer Game Preview: Bremen vs. Streamwood

The Bremen Braves will be taking part in a tournament against the Streamwood Sabres at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Streamwood better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Bremen's game on Thursday is any indication, that's when Bremen really gets things going. The Braves put the hurt on Richards with a sharp 5-0 win. Considering Bremen have won three contests by more than three goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Thursday Streamwood sidestepped Fenton for a 2-1 victory. Nataly Barrera had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Streamwood.

The win made it two in a row for Bremen and bumps their season record up to 4-4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored seven goals over those two matches. As for Streamwood, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-3.
