Football Game Preview: Unity Christian Crusaders vs. Zeeland West Dux + How To Watch

The Unity Christian Crusaders will head out to square off against the Zeeland West Dux at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Unity Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.

Unity Christian is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Forest Hills Central: they outscored them in every quarter. The Crusaders were the clear victors by a 46-22 margin over the Rangers on Friday. Fans of the Crusaders have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Meanwhile, after only 12 points in their last contest, Zeeland West made sure to put some points up on the board against Zeeland East on Friday. The Dux blew past the Chix 38-14. The Dux pushed the score to 38-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Chix cut but never quite recovered from.

Zeeland West's win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 36.5 points over those games. As for Unity Christian, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.

Unity Christian beat Zeeland West 20-8 when the teams last played back in September of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Crusaders since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
