Basketball Game Preview: Lowpoint-Washburn Wildcats vs. Galva Wildcats

The Lowpoint-Washburn Wildcats and the Galva Wildcats will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Lowpoint-Washburn is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past LaMoille 66-42 on Friday. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 24 points or more this season.

While Galva didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They managed a 37-31 win over Amboy on Friday. The 37-point effort marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Galva has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. As for Lowpoint-Washburn, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-5.

Lowpoint-Washburn was able to grind out a solid win over Galva in their previous matchup back in January, winning 64-53. Does Lowpoint-Washburn have another victory up their sleeve, or will Galva turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
