Soccer Recap: Sylacauga Comes Up Short

Sylacauga entered their contest against Lincoln on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Sylacauga Aggies took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lincoln Golden Bears. Having soared to a lofty ten goals in the game before, the Aggies' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Sylacauga's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Lincoln, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Sylacauga wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Chilton County on the 5th. As for Lincoln, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 4-1 victory against St. Clair County on the 4th.
