Soccer Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Spoto Spartans. The Dragons were not able to make up for their loss to the Spartans from their previous meeting back in November of 2023.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Spoto, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-8 record.

Jefferson will head out to take on Brandon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Spoto, they will host Armwood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Armwood's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last five games.
