Basketball Recap: Wilson Takes a Loss

If Wilson was feeling good fresh off their 66-41 takedown of Barker last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wilson Lakemen fell to the Medina Mustangs 68-63. The Lakemen were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 48-46.

Medina's win on Thursday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jerrell Nealy, who shot 5-for-8 from downtown and dropped a double-double with 25 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Christian Moss, who went 5-for-7 to rack up 13 points and eight boards.

Wilson's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Medina, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-11.

Wilson has already played their next matchup (against Royalton-Hartland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Medina does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
