The Manawa Wolves will head out to challenge the Crivitz Wolverines at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
Manawa will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Clintonville on Thursday. The Wolves walked away with an 11-6 victory over the Truckers.

Olivia Zielke was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Katelyn Krueger, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Callie Pethke was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs.
Meanwhile, Crivitz was able to grind out a solid win over Valders on Thursday, taking the game 8-5.
Like Manawa, Crivitz also got a great game from a two-way player: Taryn Tracy. On the mound, she struck out six batters over 6.2 innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off nine hits. Tracy was even better at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, Izzy Wesoloski was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one run and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Haili Dorschner, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Crivitz kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 15 hits in three consecutive matchups.
The victory got Manawa back to even at 10-10. As for Crivitz, their record is now 21-5.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Manawa hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .322. However, it's not like Crivitz struggles in that department as they've averaged .456. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Manawa's way against Crivitz when the teams last played back in May of 2023, as Manawa made off with a 12-3 win. Do the Wolves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wolverines turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
