Football Recap: Minisink Valley Falls to Middletown in First Game of Season

Minisink Valley kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 13-12 to the Middletown Middie Bears. The game was a 6-6 toss-up at halftime, but the Warriors couldn't quite close it out.

The win keeps Middletown at an undefeated 8-0.

Minisink Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Middletown, they will square off against Kingston at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
