Deja Torres made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, Bosqueville got a massive performance out of Jayla Lee, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, one triple, and one double. That's the most runs Lee has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Tagen Huffhines, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and four RBI.
Bosqueville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .724. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Hamilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Jonesboro, falling 18-1.
Bosqueville is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Hamilton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-13.
Hamilton's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Bosqueville hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .395. It's a different story for Hamilton, though, as they've only averaged .228. Will they be able to contain Bosqueville's hitters?
Everything went Bosqueville's way against Hamilton in their previous meeting back in March, as Bosqueville made off with an 18-0 victory.
