Basketball Recap: Loudonville Takes a Loss

Loudonville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Northmor Golden Knights, falling 77-55. The matchup was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Redbirds struggled afterwards.

Jax Wenger continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Northmor, almost dropping a double-double on 28 points and nine boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which Wenger has scored at least a third of Northmor's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Trevor Brubaker, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 17 points along with five assists and three steals.

Loudonville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Northmor, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Loudonville will take on East Knox at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northmor, they will square off against Centerburg at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
