Recap: Walton Warriors vs. Sidney Team

The Walton Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 61-24 loss at the hands of Sidney. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Walton has scored all season.

Walton's loss came despite strong showings from Olivia Bartlett and Kennedy Williams. Bartlett scored four points along with six rebounds, while Williams scored no points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bartlett has scored all season.

Walton has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for Sidney, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Walton will take on Deposit-Hancock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Deposit-Hancock will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 499th, while Walton is ranked 247th). As for Sidney, they will be playing at home against Unatego at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Unatego is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
