West Forsyth posted their closest victory since September 4th on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Lambert Longhorns. That's more bragging rights for the Wolverines, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day West Forsyth got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 23-25, 25-19, 21-25, 15-8.
West Forsyth was led to victory by Charlie Holcomb and Maddie Baggett. Holcomb had 12 digs and three aces, while Baggett had nine digs, four aces, and one block.
