The Redeemer Christian Lions posted their biggest win since December 14, 2023 on Saturday. They blew past Cornerstone Academy 67-42. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Redeemer Christian has posted against Cornerstone Academy since January 6, 2020.
Leading Redeemer Christian to victory were Beau Suarez and Patrick Miller-Edwards. Suarez scored 19 points along with six steals and five rebounds, while Miller-Edwards dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Miller-Edwards scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Davis Lehman, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Redeemer Christian is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-11 record this season. As for Cornerstone Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
Redeemer Christian will play host again and welcome Aucilla Christian, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
