Volleyball Recap: Seven Rivers Christian Starts off Right with Win over Families Instructing Students Homeschool + How To Watch

Seven Rivers Christian took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Families Instructing Students HomeSchool Hawks with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Warriors were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Hawks, so the Warriors were just returning the favor.

One reason for the win was Seven Rivers Christian's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-16, 25-12.

Seven Rivers Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Karis Lauranzon led the charge by getting ten digs. Those ten digs gave Lauranzon a new career-high.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seven Rivers Christian will take on Old Plank Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Families Instructing Students HomeSchool, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Champions Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
