Volleyball Recap: Kankakee Comes Up Short

Kankakee lost against Andrew back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Kays might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 2-0 to the Thunderbolts, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Kays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-16.

Kankakee's record now sits at 2-5. As for Andrew, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-14.

Looking ahead, Kankakee will head out on the road to face off against Rich Township at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give the Kays their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Andrew, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Elgin on the 19th.
