Vallejo had to endure a ten-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Richmond Oilers on Friday. The game was the first time the Redhawks have beaten the Oilers on their court since March 1, 2022.

In the three sets Vallejo was on fire: they won each by at least 15 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 0-25, 25-0, 0-25, 15-0.

Vallejo picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-12. As for Richmond, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coming up, Vallejo will challenge Swett at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Richmond, they will face off against Kennedy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
