Basketball Game Preview: Sterling Tigers vs. Indiahoma Warriors

After both having extra time off, the Sterling Tigers and the Indiahoma Warriors will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Sterling has four straight victories, Indiahoma has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

If Sterling beats Indiahoma with 75 points on Tuesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. Sterling put the hurt on Alex with a sharp 75-52 win last Friday. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Indiahoma came up short against Fletcher last Friday and fell 61-51.

Sterling is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.6 points per game. As for Indiahoma, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.

Everything came up roses for Sterling against Indiahoma in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as the team secured an 82-51 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sterling since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
