Volleyball Recap: Hemlock Beats Vestaburg for Their Third Straight Victory

Hemlock waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Vestaburg Wolverines. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Huskies also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Hemlock took both sets by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-2, 25-11.

Their offense was headlined by Sage Lavigne and Riley Church, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Laci Harry and her 16 assists. Maycee Vanderwall controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Hemlock's record now sits at 19-13-4. As for Vestaburg, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.

Hemlock does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Vestaburg, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against St. Patrick on the 28th.
