Hillsboro had lost 15 straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 3-18 to make it 16. They fell 9-4 to the Gillespie Miners. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hiltoppers of the 10-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.
