Basketball Recap: Green Meadow Waldorf Comes Up Short

Green Meadow Waldorf was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 33-24 to the EF Academy Falcons.

EF Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Emma Greiderer, who posted four points and 16 boards. With that strong performance, Greiderer is now averaging an impressive 8.1 rebounds per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayano Oki, who went 5 of 11 en route to 11 points and four steals.

Green Meadow Waldorf's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for EF Academy, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.

Green Meadow Waldorf will be taking part in a tournament against Kimberton Waldorf at 10:00 a.m. on February 8th. As for EF Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Masters at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
