Basketball Game Preview: Millikan Rams vs. Beverly Hills Normans

The Millikan Rams will be taking part in a tournament against the Beverly Hills Normans at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Millikan has struggled recently with four losses in a row, while Beverly Hills will arrive with four straight wins.

On Tuesday, Millikan came up short against Harvard-Westlake and fell 82-73. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (71), the Rams still had to take the loss.

Despite their defeat, Millikan saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Jeremiah Hunt, who shot 41% from the field to rack up 20 points and three steals, was perhaps the best of all. Quali Giran was another key player, going 8-for-16 on his way to 19 points in addition to six boards and five assists.

Meanwhile, Beverly Hills was able to grind out a solid victory over Ontario Christian on Wednesday, taking the game 57-47.

Millikan's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Beverly Hills, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.
