Mt. Eden won the last time they faced Alameda and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Monarchs had just enough and edged out the Hornets 2-1.

Luis Fernando Duarte and Diego Villagomez scored both of Mt. Eden's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Mt. Eden has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those four contests. As for Alameda, their defeat ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-6-2.
