Basketball Recap: John Walker Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Palmyra-Eagle

On Saturday, the Lake Country Classical Academy Sentinels beat the Palmyra-Eagle Panthers 60-52.

Lake Country Classical Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but John Walker led the charge by going 6-for-9 to rack up 15 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Low, who went 5-for-10 en route to 18 points.

Lake Country Classical Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Palmyra-Eagle, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-10.

Coming up, Lake Country Classical Academy will square off against Living Word Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Palmyra-Eagle, they will face off against Deerfield at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Deerfield's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 12 matchups.
