Volleyball Recap: Lake Mills L-Cats vs. Stoughton Vikings        
        
		
             Lake Mills extended their postseason success on Thursday against Stoughton. They skirted past the Stoughton Vikings  3-2. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the L-Cats.
 Lake Mills was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (108-102), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 20-25, 15-25, 25-20,  16-14.
  Brooke Palmer paced Lake Mills' offense, picking up 11 kills. Palmer got some help from 
 Debra Bruce and her 31 assists. Palmer also made an impact serving:  she shared the team lead in aces with 
 Lyndsey Bender, racking up two apiece.
 Despite the loss, Stoughton still got an impressive performance from   Makenna Angerhofer, who  had 32  digs and three  aces. With that strong performance,  Angerhofer is now averaging an impressive 10.1  digs per game.
 Lake Mills pushed their record up to 19-16 with the  victory, which was their third straight  at home. As for Stoughton, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost eight of their last ten matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 25-13 record  this season.
 Lake Mills wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  3-0  defeat against Lakeside Lutheran on the 26th. Stoughton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
